Week 7: Midterm Evaluation

Recap of Week 6
In Week 6, I focused on enhancing the SMS logs table by making the columns configurable and adding a demonstration of how this can be achieved with the extension system. I also added support to set a default configuration and included filters and a search component for the SMS logs table. After receiving feedback, we decided that the search functionality would be more efficient than filtering through phone numbers.

Week 7: Midterm Evaluation

This week was primarily dedicated to the GSoC midterm evaluation. Here’s a detailed summary of the activities and accomplishments:

Documentation and Resource Collection:
I spent considerable time documenting all the work done so far and collecting the resources used throughout the project. This was crucial for providing a comprehensive overview of the progress made during the first half of GSoC.

Midterm Evaluation Presentation

Midterm Evaluation Succes
I am happy to share that I successfully passed the midterm evaluation. This is a significant milestone and a testament to the hard work and dedication put into the project.

Looking Ahead
With the midterm evaluation successfully completed, the focus will now shift towards continuing the development of the SMS app. This will involve addressing any remaining issues, implementing new features, and ensuring that the project stays on track for the final evaluation.

Week 7 has been a pivotal week, marking the successful completion of the midterm evaluation and setting the stage for the second half of the GSoC journey. The journey continues with renewed enthusiasm and a commitment to achieving the project goals.
